ASU’s Asian Pacific American Studies present a one-day workshop:
Teaching Japanese American Internment During WWII
Lessons with direct curricula ties to Arizona Standards in U.S. and World History, U.S. and World Geography, English, Reading,
Writing, U.S. Constitution and Civic Responsibility.

7:15 AM to 4:00 PM Includes box lunch, workshops (by grade), panel discussion by former internees, and tour of Internment site at Gila River Indian Community (tour from 7 am to noon). |
